Trump says Pentagon is releasing secret UFO documents very soon
Like a seasonal trend, UFO news is back. This time, it’s the U.S. president saying the Pentagon is about to release some “very interesting” UFO documents.
Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, President Donald Trump told a crowd that the process of releasing UFO-related documents is already underway and that what they’ve found is “very interesting.”
“The first releases will begin very, very soon,” he revealed.
This follows an earlier move where he asked Defense officials to start declassifying files tied to unexplained aerial sightings, the stuff the government now calls UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) instead of UFOs.
Quick reality check
Before we all start packing for Mars, the Pentagon has been here before. They have reviewed hundreds of UFO sightings over the past few years. The result is that only a small number were flagged as “anomalous,” while zero were confirmed to be of extraterrestrial origin.
It turns out most of the sightings are likely drones, atmospheric effects, or just misidentified objects doing weird things at high speeds.
There are a handful of cases they couldn’t fully explain but that’s not quite the same as “we found aliens.”
The timing is doing a lot of talking
Not everyone is buying the timing. Some lawmakers have openly questioned why UFO disclosures are being pushed right now, especially with ongoing attention around the Epstein files.
As far as Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky is concerned, the move to release UFO documents is the “ultimate weapon of mass distraction.”
As usual, you’ve got two parallel narratives. There’s the side that thinks “We’re finally getting the truth about UFOs” while waiting eagerly for the files to drop. On the other end, there are people who see it as just a very shiny diversion. Pick your fighter.
