Netflix abruptly cancels several shows and announces more renewals
If you have a favorite show, or two, on Netflix, you may be in for some bad news. The streaming giant announces it has suddenly canceled multiple shows, but more renewals are expected.
Netflix shows getting the axe
Each year Netflix announces a list of shows that didn't make the cut for whatever reason. So brace yourself, you may not like what you see.
Getting the axe is Selling the City, Pop The Balloon Live, Terminator Zero, Class, The Abandons, The Vince Staples Show, With Love, The Waterfront, Meghan (reportedly canceled by Page Six), Boots, and The Ultimatum: Queer Love.
The list keeps growing, so this likely isn't the last of it.
It's not all bad news
The silver lining is that it's not all bad news at Netflix. There are some popular shows that have also been renewed.
Renewed for season three is Quarterback, which has proven to be a fave with viewers. You'll get to see behind the scenes with a handful of quarterbacks, including Cam Ward, Jayden Daniels, Baker Mayfield, and Joe Flacco.
Also renewed is Big Mistakes, Running Point, My Life with the Walter Boys, and Love is Blind, among others.
The Night Agent will come back for another season, but there is no release date yet. Also back for a fifth season is Emily in Paris.
Always a cycle of refreshing at Netflix
Netflix seems to always be refreshing the content they offer, so expect to also see plenty of new shows to get hooked on.
