The classic children's TV personality, Mister Rogers, is yet again making sure it's a beautiful day in your neighborhood in an unexpected way. Mister Rogers beat out Snoopy in a Postal Service contest, so the stamp will now be reissued.

A returning fan favorite

This is a return of a fan favorite stamp that's meant to take you back to your childhood. Originally issued in 2018, the Mister Rogers stamp became an instant classic and will be back once again.

The Stamp Encore contest gives people a chance to weigh in on which stamp they want to see return.

The contest took place over 10 weeks

The Stamp Encore Contest took place over 10 weeks. A whopping 500,000 ballots were cast, showing just how involved people wanted to be.

Maybe more surprising than the number of ballots cast was that Mister Rogers beat out some pretty popular stamps, which included a Snoopy stamp.

The Mister Rogers stamps will be part of the Forever stamps collection, which means they are always going to be equal to the current price of stamps. If you buy them now, you don't have to worry about the prices going up.

You don't have to be a stamp collector

The cool thing about this stamp is that you don't have to be a stamp collector to appreciate it. If you were a fan of Mister Rogers growing up, it's a no-brainer to pick one up.

You'll be able to get your hands on the stamp at post offices throughout the country and at The Postal Store beginning on June 1.

Because this is the 250th anniversary of the USPS, they asked people to share their opinion and decide which stamp should return.

A fun, retro nod

With so many companies recognizing the 250th birthday of the United States, the USPS is giving you a fun, retro way to celebrate with a piece of your childhood. You're going to want to grab a few stamps while you can.
