Hardee’s is giving away free breakfast biscuits to drivers nationwide

Hardee’s is making sure you can still afford breakfast after paying at the pump. The fast-food chain is giving away free breakfast biscuits to drivers across the country. But there’s one catch. You have to prove your gas tank is running low.

Here is all you need to know about the giveaway.

‘Running on Full’

As part of a new campaign called "Running on Full," Hardee's is offering eligible customers a free breakfast biscuit. To qualify, drivers need to be My Rewards member. They are required to take a photo of their fuel gauge, show that their tank is at or below a quarter full, and submit the photo through Hardee's campaign website. Once approved, they can claim either a Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit or Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit for free.

According to the company, the campaign is a response to rising fuel costs putting pressure on household budgets. Gas prices have increased significantly compared to last year, forcing many people to rethink everyday spending. Hardee’s says the idea behind the promotion is simple: Even if your gas tank is close to empty, your stomach doesn't have to be.

There is plenty of time to redeem it

The offer runs from June 18 through July 2. Drivers who successfully submit a qualifying photo will receive the offer through the Hardee’s app and have until October 31 to redeem it. So even if you're not planning a breakfast run tomorrow, there is some flexibility.
