Domino's launches its best pizza deal ever for summer

With the official start of summer about to hit, Domino's is giving people a fun way to celebrate. Its Best Deal Ever promotion will now include the popular Parmesan Stuffed Crust pizza for a limited time.

Domino's is giving customers the perfect way to celebrate summer and the FIFA Men's World Cup tournament. The premium Parmesan Stuffed Crust pizza will be priced at $9.99 until July 26.

"Domino's is as fanatical about Parmesan Stuffed Crust as soccer fans are about the game," Vice President of Marketing Lindsay Hettling said in a statement.

"Premium usually comes at a higher price — but not at Domino's. We believe in giving our customers more without having them pay more. Now customers have more choices than ever before as part of this deal — whether they want Parmesan Stuffed Crust, Handmade Pan, Hand Tossed or any of our other crusts."

Squeezing competitors' profits

So what's behind this seemingly too-good-to-be-true deal? According to Domino's CFO Sandeep Reddy, it's all about squeezing the competitors' profits.

If you can get premium-quality pizza at Domino's and try something new to you at a lower price than competitors, who's going to say no? The deal seems even better if you're ordering pizza for a crowd, maybe enjoying a FIFA viewing party.

Domino's is also launching an in-app game for rewards members

The pizza chain didn't stop with the Best Deal Ever promotion; it's also pushing its new in-app game exclusively for rewards members. The game will be available until July 19.

The new Soccer Shootout in-app game uses toppings as the soccer ball, and you'll need to launch them at the moving pizza target. The goal is to score as many points as possible to earn exclusive deals.
