The whole all-you-can-eat concept is popular at buffets, but not exactly what you'd find at a fast-food burger joint. Burger King is about to change things up in a big way with its new all-you-can-eat burger challenge.

A challenge burger fans can get behind

The all-you-can-eat burger challenge means diners can eat as many of the four-patty burgers as possible to potentially qualify for the national final later this year.

Yeah, this isn't a challenge for fun; it's a competition. You're eating to prove you've got what it takes to be the ultimate burger lover.

Dubbed the One Pounder Challenge 2026, each four-patty burger is 1,615 calories. You can bet you'll fill up fast.

The burger challenge takes place in Japan

Before you get too excited, unfortunately, this challenge is only available in select locations in Japan. It runs from June 19 to 25.

For anyone participating, you'll need to polish off as many Smokehouse The One Pounder burgers as possible. And yes, the meal comes with fries and a drink.

To add an extra layer of challenge, there is a 45-minute countdown clock to stick to.

Dissecting the burger

The burger is more than just patties; it also features four slices of cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, mayo, pickles, and a smoked bacon sauce. As mentioned, it clocks in at 1,615 calories and weighs an eye-popping 545 grams.

While you're taking part in the challenge, you'll also get unlimited refills of fries and your drink of choice.

The all-you-can-eat burger challenge meal is $30 and it will take place four times a day. Each challenge session allows for six to eight participants.

A fun twist on the all-you-can-eat trend

Sure, this isn't a typical all-you-can-eat meal, but there is an element of fun and excitement here that is sure to make it a success.
