Whataburger is opening 15 new locations across the country
Whataburger is making it easier to get a burger by opening 15 new locations across the country. These new locations will be spread out across seven states, adding to its more than 1,100 locations.
Whataburger aims to make takeout more accessible
There are plenty of features that make Whataburger stand out, but for many people, it's all about the hours. Most of its locations are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day).
If you get a craving for burgers in the wee hours of the morning, you don't have a lot of choices. Whataburger changed that.
As mentioned, there are more than 1,100 locations in 17 states. So while it's not nationwide, it's certainly making its mark.
New locations will be open by the end of June
The mere thought of a Whataburger opening near you may be exciting enough. Add to it the fact that all 15 locations are set to open by the end of June, and you don't have long to wait.
The new locations will be in various towns and cities in Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
The ability to customize your burger
The chain's headquarters are in Texas, and it describes its vibe as a "hometown hamburger place that hasn't compromised."
It's all about the original recipes here, which are made to order. That means you can customize your burger to make sure it's exactly what you want, unlike so many other fast food restaurants.
The original location opened in 1950 in Corpus Christi, TX. The owner, Harmon Dobson, had a single goal: "to serve a burger so big it took two hands to hold and so good that after one bite guests would say, 'What a burger.'"
The countdown begins
Whataburger's new locations will give customers even more opportunities to sample its recipes, so the countdown has begun.
