Wendy's is offering a rare under $2 deal on its menu

Wendy's is giving diners a way to stretch their budget so much that takeout won't even feel like an expense. For a limited time, you can get 10 pieces of nuggets for $1.99 with any purchase.

An app-exclusive deal

Here's a deal you don't want to snooze on. Through Sept. 27, when you make any purchase at Wendy's on the app, you can add a 10-piece order of Classic or Spicy Nuggets for $1.99.

Another perk is that you can earn Rewards points. By creating an account on the app, you'll get 10 points for every $1 you spend. Points can be redeemed for free food.

When you create a new account on the app, you’ll get an offer for a FREE 10 PC. Nuggs with any purchase and 150 bonus Rewards.

Not the only deals on the table

As great as $1.99 nuggets are, there are more deals you can find in the app. Wendy's also features "Wendy's Wednesdays" where you get a free six piece Chicken Nuggets (regular or spicy) when you make an app purchase of $5 or more.

Additionally, there is "Fryday Friday," where a $5 in-app purchase gets you any size Hot and Crispy Fries for free.

Wendy's has been pumping out new menu items lately. This pairs perfectly with in-app deals that require a minimum purchase.

A few of the newest menu items and limited time offers include the Apple Crumble Frosty Fusion, Bacon Pub Fries, Pretzel Bacon Pub Chicken Sandwich, and the Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger.
