Walmart now lets you add Papa Johns pizza to your delivery order

Walmart is looking to get a leg up on its competition by adding conveniences for shoppers. You can now add Papa Johns pizza to your delivery order, making it feel more like a one-stop shop.

A first-of-its-kind partnership

Count on Walmart to be creative when it comes to giving customers what they want. This is a first-of-its-kind partnership between a retail big box store and a pizza delivery chain.

Walmart has already started offering Subway and will soon offer Dunkin' menu. This is just giving people even more food and beverage options to add to their Walmart order.

“Customers shop at Walmart because they can find what they want and need in one place,” said Greg Cathey, SVP, eCommerce Fulfillment Innovation, Walmart, in a press release.

“Adding Papa Johns brings even more variety and convenience to that experience, giving customers the option to order a favorite like pizza alongside the everyday items they already count on Walmart for,” said Cathey.

Your express delivery order is even more convenient now

You'll soon be able to add your favorite Papa Johns order to your Walmart Express Delivery order. The only catch is that it's available in select markets only.

Because Walmart isn't fulfilling the pizza order in-store, it does limit which locations offer it.

If you're in one of the select areas where this feature is available, you'll have access to a selection of pizzas, sandwiches, wings, sides and desserts. You can click on the "Restaurants" tab in the Walmart app or on the website to see if you're eligible.

Make it a full meal by mixing and matching

What's fun about this offering is that you can essentially make it a full meal by picking items from both Walmart and Papa Johns. It's customizable in that sense.

Maybe you want to add drinks, desserts, fruits and veggies from Walmart and then pizzas and wings from Papa Johns.

Launching in the fall

If you're hyped to start using this new feature, keep your eyes peeled because it's set to launch this fall.
