If you've ever wondered about life on other planets, you may start to get some answers. President Trump has given the go-ahead to the Pentagon to start releasing "never-before-seen" files immediately.

Files may shed light on unidentified anomalous phenomena

Because these are never-before-seen files, the release is creating a lot of hype and interest. These are files related to UFOs, or unidentified anomalous phenomena, that span decades.

Whether or not these files will answer the question of "are we alone in the universe" is yet to be seen, but you can bet people will be poring over the information.

President Trump previously teased the disclosure

Last month, President Trump gave a bit of a sneak peek of what's to come at a conservative gathering. Trump told attendees that there were some "very interesting documents."

At that point, there was no date, only that the information would be released "very, very soon."

Files will be released on a rolling basis

Rather than doing a massive data dump, the Pentagon plans on releasing files slowly and on a rolling basis. This gives people a chance to go over the current batch before diving into new content.

“The American people can now access the federal government’s declassified UAP files instantly,” stated the official press release. “The latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place — no clearance required.”

All the data is housed on an official government website (https://www.war.gov/UFO/) that anyone can access.

So far, it doesn't look like any big cover-up happened. This may not be the news you were hyped to hear, but this is only the first batch. There is still plenty of information to come.

The jury is still out

Whether we’re actually alone remains the ultimate mystery—but with more files on the way, the truth might finally be just a click away.
