If Sprite is your soda of choice, you're going to need to look for a new logo. The popular soft drink is going through a major rebrand and is bringing back the iconic lymon symbol.

Call it a blast from the past

You'll probably remember the iconic lemon/lime, called the lymon, that featured prominently on the drink.

Not only is the brightly colored logo noticeable, but it also perfectly sums up what you're getting from the drink, a crisp lemon lime flavor.

The rebranding also includes a new tagline: "It's That Fresh." Once the summer heat hits, you can see how that tagline could work.

The new logo will be part of the name

Another fun feature of the rebranding is the placement of the lymon. Instead of a dot on top of the "i" in the word Sprite, the lymon will be there.

The traditional green and white colors will still be used on the can, making sure that you spot it quickly.

It's one thing to rebrand a product, but it still needs to be recognizable to the fanbase. The new logo is enough of a change that it will help the product pop on shelves, but not be jarring.

A new tune finishes off the rebrand

And what's a cool new rebrand without a catchy song? Original music by UK rapper LeoStayTrill will be used to create a chill vibe.

Think of drinking a Sprite as a lifestyle choice, because that's clearly what the marketing is going for.

Other fun products that Sprite will be launching are collabs with McDonald's, Tabasco, and Takis. These collabs will feature unique limited-edition flavors such as Lemon Mint or Sprite Chilli, and Sprite + Tea.

You can find the new branding on shelves now

You'll be able to get your hands on the rebrand now, as they roll out on shelves across the country. You'll also want to keep a heads up for the fun collabs with more details to come.
