Sam's Club is offering over 50% off new annual memberships
Sam's Club is doing its best to entice people to sign up for new memberships, and this offer may be too good to pass up. Right now, you can get a membership for $25, down from its usual $60 fee, making it way cheaper than a Costco membership.
Prices have been slashed on both membership tiers
If you've been sitting on the fence about getting a Sam's Club membership, it's about to pay off. The $25 membership fee is available for a limited time only, so there's no time to spare.
The Sam's Club membership is consistently cheaper than Costco's, but this $25 offer blows others away.
They've also slashed the price on the "Plus" membership, which is Sam's higher-tier offering. It's usually priced at $120 a year, but right now you can get it for $55 for the year.
The kicker is that both of these offers are only available until Sept. 30.
Expect similar deals as Costco
When it comes down to the specifics, both Costco and Sam's Club offer similar deals and products. Sam's Club has a bakery and a food court. It also offers travel deals, provides home renovations, car services and bulk products.
A few Sam's Club-specific offerings are Scan & Go, which is an app feature that essentially lets you scan items as you shop and then pay through the app when you're done. Skipping the checkout line can be a huge bonus.
There is also free curbside pickup, an expansive food court, and its own twist on rotisserie chicken.
If you opt for the higher-tier "Plus" membership, you'll get things like free delivery on orders over $50, early shopping access one hour before opening, pharmacy discounts and more.
You may want both memberships
Even if you're currently a Costco member, the $25 Sam's Club fee looks pretty attractive. You can always purchase the Sam's Club membership and let your Costco membership expire. Because this deal only lasts a few weeks, you don't want to sit on the sidelines too long.
