Popeyes brings back fan-favorite chicken wraps for good
Popeyes just made one of its most requested menu items permanent and fans finally got their wish.
This isn’t a “limited-time only” situation. After years of people asking (and honestly, complaining), the food chain is bringing back its chicken wraps, and this time, they’re staying on the menu.
It’s not just wraps
The wraps are the headline, but Popeyes didn’t stop there. The brand is also rolling out its first-ever signature sauce, something fans have been asking for just as loudly.
And it’s not just another generic dip. This one leans into the brand’s Louisiana roots: bell pepper, celery, onion and garlic, complete with little heat.
There’s also a new “side character” item
To go with the sauce, Popeyes is dropping Chicken Dippers, thin, hand-battered strips made from all-white chicken breast.
They’re priced at $4.99 and clearly designed for dipping—a lot of dipping.
It’s a limited-time item, so this one is only available for a while and might disappear soon.
The bundle play and the real play here
Popeyes is also leaning into group orders with a Build Your Own Bundle. Three proteins, two sides, all for $20 in total. Only available through the app and website, this option gives everyone in a group the chance to get a taste of various offerings from Popeyes.
This is not just about new food. With this decision, Popeyes is stepping directly into the ongoing fast food “wrap war.” Back in June 2025, the chain kicked things off early, dropping wraps ahead of McDonald's bringing back its Snack Wrap.
Now with wraps locked in permanently, plus a signature sauce? This is a clear move to compete with players like Chick-fil-A on both flavor and brand identity.
So, if you are interested in any of these offerings, head over to Popeyes for your fill.
