After seeing strong demand for its $10 Tuesday buckets, KFC is expanding the promotion into a new “Bucket of the Day” lineup with a different $10 meal available every weekday.

Under the new lineup, Mondays and Fridays come with 24 nuggets and four sauces. 8-piece drums and thighs are on offer on Tuesdays, 10 wings and two sauces on Wednesdays, and 8 tenders with four sauces on Thursdays.

Again, each option costs $10.

KFC is also going all in on sauces now

Alongside the bucket deals, KFC is launching new sauces like Honey Chili Crisp and Jalapeño Ranch. And the chain’s CEO  Scott Mezvinsky made it very clear this isn’t a one-time thing.

Apparently, modern consumers don’t just want chicken anymore. As Mezvinsky said, they want to “dip it and dunk it and drip it.”

“So, one of the things we’re going to be doing is applying sauces in different ways. There's lots of areas you can play with sauces. That gets me excited also, because it's pretty easily operationally to make a reality as well,” he added.

The real strategy

KFC is going beyond just trying to sell chicken. It is trying to become more customizable, more snackable, more shareable, basically more “I saw this on TikTok” friendly.

The expansion of the $10 bucket deal comes as fast food chains continue competing aggressively on value. With inflation and higher living costs still affecting spending habits, brands are leaning harder into bundles and lower-priced meals to keep customers coming back.

KFC says the original $10 Tuesday deal performed well, which pushed the company to expand the concept into a full weekday promotion.

With this move, the company demonstrates an understanding of where consumers are right now. And a predictable $10 dinner might be one of the strongest flexes a fast food chain can offer in 2026.
