Heinz is putting Pikachu on its iconic ketchup bottles

Calling all Pokémon fans and collectors. Heinz is giving you something really fun and unexpected with its new limited-edition Heinz x Pokémon Collaboration Bottles starring Pikachu.

Collect all the limited-edition designs

Just like with Pokémon cards, you'll want to "catch them all" since there will be three different bottle designs. Each one will feature the adorable Pikachu in various poses.

This collaboration will be used on the upside-down bottles, which are the most popular thanks to their user-friendly design.

This isn't the first collaboration for Heinz

Whether you're a diehard fan of Heinz ketchup or you love all things related to Japanese animation, you may have caught some of the previous collaborations.

The video game character Kirby also got its own collab with a few unique designs. And just like Pikachu, they were all adorable and fun.

The same Heinz ketchup you know and love

For those concerned, this collab does not involve a recipe change. So you have nothing to worry about. The contents of the bottle remain unchanged, so it's still the ketchup you know and love.

The new bottle will be hitting Japanese grocery shelves soon and will sell for 421 yen (US$2.65). Right now, there's no word of it being available outside of Japan.

A fun and tasty nod to Pokémon

This is one of those cases where a company not only recognizes a pop culture trend, but hops on the bandwagon. All that's left to do is somehow get your hands on one of these bottles.
