Disney slashes tickets to $59 to draw in visitors
If a visit to Disney is on your bucket list, but the ticket prices have been too steep, now may be the time to go for it. Disney is offering tickets as low as $59, opening the door to more potential visitors.
Disneyland's $59 evening ticket is a limited-time deal
You don't want to sit on the sidelines for long with this deal because Disneyland's reduced ticket price is only available for a limited time. The $59 evening ticket lets Disney temporarily cut costs for guests without touching the regular admission tickets.
To sweeten the pot further, Disneyland is also advertising free-dining promotions, hotel discounts, kids' offers and resident specials. The idea is that with so many promotions running, one is bound to apply to you.
Disney World is also offering a reduced ticket price
If you're more of a Disney World kind of person, no worries because the resort is also offering a deal, too.
Right now, you can get the three-day, three-park ticket for $89 a day, for a total of $267. Unfortunately, this promotion doesn't include admission to Magic Kingdom, but maybe that's not a problem for you.
The promotions and special rates seem to be paying off, as Disney's domestic theme park attendance in the most recent quarter is up 3% from the same period last year. This is the biggest increase since 2023.
Non-Disney parks are struggling with attendance
Disney seems to be the outlier right now, with other big theme parks struggling with weaker attendance. Universal Studios Florida saw attendance drop in 2023 and 2024. SeaWorld is also reporting weaker attendance.
With parkgoers looking for the best deals possible, it could be that Disney is just doing a better job with promotions and value for money.
Take advantage of the deals
The big takeaway here is that if you've been wanting to visit a Disney park and were scared off by the ticket price, this may be the push you were waiting for.
