Fast food prices have been rising so quickly and so high in the past few years that some people have just skipped it altogether. Not so fast, because Dairy Queen is offering the ultimate summer deal - a BOGO 99-cent Blizzard for a limited time.

A members-only exclusive

Before you get too hyped for a ridiculously affordable Blizzard, this is a members-only exclusive.

The promotion runs until Aug. 30 for DQ Rewards members who purchase one Blizzard Treat at regular price, and get a second one for $0.99.

Members will find the deal in the deals tab of the DQ app. All you need to do is add two Blizzards to your mobile order, and the promo price will automatically appear for the second one.

Even if you aren't a DQ Rewards member right now, you can easily sign up. It's a free rewards program; all you need to do is download the app. It's available on the Google Play Store and App Store.

Just like with most offers, this one is available at participating locations only.

DQ also announces new fall-themed flavor

The August Blizzard of the Month has also been announced, and it sounds very tasty and very fall-themed. The all-new, never-before-released, Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard is now available.

The Blizzard is swirled with real cheesecake pieces and has a caramel apple topping. This is a great way to get into fall mode.
