Dairy Queen adds 3 new Blizzard flavors and a $2.50 patriotic float

Summer at Dairy Queen typically means a few limited-edition flavors or treats, but this year, there's a unique celebratory twist. Dairy Queen is adding three Blizzard flavors and a $2.50 patriotic float to commemorate the country's 250th birthday.

Themed float to celebrate the 250th birthday

It seems like everyone is looking for ways to celebrate the United States' 250th birthday, and Dairy Queen is part of the action with its limited-time Stars & Stripes Misty Slush Float.

The float features layers of the DQ Cherry Misty Slush, blue raspberry Misty Slush, vanilla soft serve, and star sprinkles. It's a fun and imaginative take on the iconic American flag.

Priced at $2.50 for the small size, the float will be available from June 29 to July 5.

Blizzards with the World Cup in mind

Starting on June 29 you'll also be able to get your hands on the three new Blizzard flavors, all meant to celebrate the World Cup.

The new flavors are:

Biscoff Cookie Blizzard Treat - Sweet, caramelized Biscoff cookies are blended into the soft-serve ice cream.
Strawberry Mango-flavored Mochi - A bold Blizzard featuring mango-flavored mochi pieces and a sweet strawberry topping.
Mexican-Style Hot Chocolate made with Abuelita - The most unique flavor on the menu, with choco chunks, cocoa fudge, fudge-covered marshmallows, and an Abuelita Mexican hot chocolate mix.

Order online or in-store and take part in the sweepstakes

The new items can all be ordered in-store, online or through the DQ mobile app. If you're a DQ Rewards Member you can also take part in the DQ Go for the Globe Sweepstakes in the DQ app. The lucky winner will get a dream vacation.

Each of the new Blizzards earns you one entry in the sweepstakes. If you buy all three of the new flavors, you'll get 15 entries.
