Chick-fil-A debuts all-day chicken and waffles sandwich

Starting August 24, Chick-fil-A is bringing its new Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches to restaurants nationwide, and the biggest twist isn't even the waffle. Customers can now order the sweet-and-savory combo beyond breakfast.

Chicken and waffles are no longer just a breakfast thing

The new sandwich combines a Chick-fil-A chicken filet with maple-flavored waffles, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter spread. It also comes with classic syrup on the side, because apparently subtlety was never invited to this breakfast party. And customers get options. The chicken can be Original, Spicy or Grilled, so you can decide whether your waffle situation needs a little heat or you'd rather keep things classic.

The breakfast version arrives during Chick-fil-A's normal breakfast hours, from opening until 10:30 a.m. It comes with a smaller chicken filet and waffle. Then at 10:30 a.m., the bigger entrée version takes over and sticks around until closing.

Then there’s the S'mores

If the chicken-and-waffles sandwich wasn't enough, Chick-fil-A is also adding two S'mores-inspired drinks on August 24. First up is the S'mores Milkshake, which mixes Chick-fil-A's Icedream dessert with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavored syrup and marshmallow-flavored whipped topping.

Then there's the S'mores Frosted Coffee, which combines Chick-fil-A's cold-brewed coffee with marshmallow-flavored syrup and Icedream, along with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.

This is not Chick-fil-A's first chicken-and-waffles experiment

The nationwide launch follows a limited-time test of the sandwiches in 2025. Apparently, the test went well enough that Chick-fil-A decided the rest of the country deserved a chance to get involved.

The company has also been rolling out other nostalgia-inspired experiences throughout the year, including its Classic Cups, new packaging and permanent Frosted Sodas and Floats.
