People across the country are looking to take control of their health, and boosting their protein intake is one of the most popular trends. Campbell's Soup not only notices the trend but is also giving customers what they want with new high-protein soups.

Campbell's gets in on the trend

Not only is Campbell's Soup well aware of the health and wellness trend nationwide, but it is actively getting involved with new products. Call it innovation, call it creativity, whatever it is, Campbell's is tuned in.

“New Campbell’s Protein Soups deliver the nutrition consumers are looking for from a brand they trust," reads a statement on the company's website from Benjamin Crook, Senior Vice President, Soup & Broth at The Campbell’s Company. "As consumers increasingly seek foods that offer both great taste and meaningful nutrition, this innovative product line will bring excitement and drive consumers to the soup category.”

Five flavors to try out

The new protein-rich soup lineup features five different flavors, all of which contain 20 grams of protein per serving.

You can choose from Italian-Style Wedding, Homestyle Chicken & Rotini, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Mediterranean Lentil, and Southwest Black Bean. Along with the extra protein, some of these new recipes contain more fiber, too, giving you a double whammy of nutritional benefits.

Protein-rich soups are available now

Right now, you can find the protein soups on Campbell's website and Amazon, but they will soon be hitting grocery store shelves nationwide. Some Walmarts and Targets reportedly already have them on shelves.

To make them easy to spot, the packaging is different from traditional Campbell's Soup, with the protein versions featuring a dark green label.

Get your hands on the tasty new offerings

If you're a soup lover and you're also trying to eat a more balanced diet, you're going to want to give these new protein-rich soups a try.
