Burger King adds new pretzel burger and nacho chicken fries

Burger King is giving you a tasty reason to visit with new limited-edition menu items. The fast-food chain has announced a pretzel burger and nacho chicken fries, which are sure to get you drooling.

It's all about football season

As Americans across the country rejoice at the return of football season, Burger King is getting in on the action with a new Game Day Menu. The limited-edition menu drops on Oct. 6.

The new Pretzel Burger features warm soft pretzel buns that add a different vibe and texture to the typical quarter-pounder burger. It's topped with bacon, crispy onions, American cheese and perhaps the best part—nacho cheese sauce.

Also dropping is the melted nacho cheese sauce meant for dipping with the Chicken Fries. It gives the chicken more of a flavor kick.

Not entirely new items

Burger King die-hard fans may feel like they've seen these "new" items before, and they wouldn't be wrong. Both the Chicken Fries with Nacho Cheese Sauce and the Game Day Pretzel Burger were initially tested in 2025.

Like so many restaurants and chains do, it was a way to soft-launch the items and get customer feedback. That feedback must have been good, considering both items are back on the menu.

Available Nationwide

If you're already drooling about the new items, the good news is that these will be available countrywide. As stated, though, they are limited edition, so the FOMO is going to hit hard.

"Game day is about more than just the game. It's about bringing people together over delicious and fun food – something Burger King is no stranger to," said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C.

"We wanted to bring that spirit to guests with a menu that makes it easy for BK to be part of their game day and traditions," said Yashinsky.

The countdown is on

The good news is that you don't have to wait long for these new menu items to drop; the only question is, do you get one or both of them?
