Auntie Anne's is selling $50 pass for a year of free pretzels

It's hard to find a great deal at fast-food restaurants nowadays, but Auntie Anne's is challenging that notion. Its new $50 Golden Pretzel Pass lets you eat pretzels for a full year at a fixed, one-time fee.

A limited number of pretzel passes are being sold

A $50 pretzel pass sounds too good to be true, which is exactly why Auntie Anne's is offering a very limited number of passes. That means you need to jump on the offer fast.

Now, before you get too excited about how many pretzels you can eat, there is a cap on it. It gives you 52 pretzels over the span of a year, for $50. So we're not talking about unlimited pretzels here.

Reading the fine print

The Golden Pretzel Pass not only limits the number of pretzels you can order in a year, but it also limits what kind of pretzel you can get. It's valid for one free original or cinnamon sugar pretzel per week for a year.

If you're interested in the limited-edition flavors, or anything outside of plain or sugar, this pass isn't going to be for you.

Since you can only get one pretzel per week, you'll need to make sure you remember to visit weekly. If you don't, you won't actually get 52 pretzels in the span of a year.

A deal is still a deal

Even after reading the fine print, there's no denying that the Golden Pretzel Pass is exceptional value. You'll be getting a pretzel for less than one dollar. Typically, 52 pretzels would cost around $350, so you're saving $300.

The passes are available now, but only at select locations and while supplies last. There is no published list about which locations are offering it, so it's best to call and see if the one near you has passes.
