With gas prices climbing and grocery bills getting harder to look at, Applebee's is bringing back one of its most popular budget-friendly deals. The all-you-can-eat meals for $15.99 are back, and yes, the endless fries are included.

The limited-time offer officially returned this week as more restaurants compete to convince customers that eating out can still feel affordable.

The dine-in-only special lets customers order unlimited portions of Boneless Wings, Riblets, and Double Crunch Shrimp. Each option also comes with endless fries.

According to Applebee's, customers can keep the refills coming throughout the meal, making it one of the chain’s biggest value promotions again this year.

There’s also a summer margarita rollout happening, as the brand is also launching two new summer margaritas served in collectible “Poolio” cups: the Sunny Sipper Margarita and Belly Floppin’ Melon Margarita.

The drinks include combinations of tequila, vodka, rum, blue curaçao, and fruit juices.

The timing might be very intentional

The return of the deal comes as Americans are feeling squeezed almost everywhere else. According to AAA, the national average gas price has climbed to $4.52 per gallon compared to $3.14 this time last year.

Food prices haven’t exactly helped either.

That’s part of why chains like Applebee’s are leaning harder into value meals, bundles, and promotions right now. Restaurants know customers are watching every dollar more closely.

The interesting part is that Applebee’s didn’t raise the price this year. The all-you-can-eat deal remains $15.99, which is the same price as the last two years. That may not sound dramatic, but in an economy where almost everything else feels more expensive, restaurants are realizing price stability itself has become part of the marketing. And while Applebee’s isn’t reinventing dining here, it is bringing back something familiar, and right now, that may be what customers are looking for.
